54th International Congress & Exposition on Noise Control Engineering

Students and Young Professionals

Young and early career acousticians can be either undergraduate or postgraduate students, postdoctoral, or young acousticians or noise control engineers working in industry.

Several events directed towards young and early career acousticians are proposed, including social gathering and a PhD Market. Details soon.

Young Professionals Grant Program

In 2010, I-INCE initiated a grant program for noise control engineering students and young professionals who were within the first ten years of their careers. The goals of the grant is to expose students and young acousticians to senior professionals, give them experience in public presentation and paper writing, and assist them in the development of networking abilities. Since 2010, a total of 265 awards have been granted, and the grant is recently increased to 700 Euros in 2025. A total of 20 awards are reserved for the Inter-Noise 2025 Congress.

Application to the grant should be done via e-mail by sending the application file to Taha Sen (senos@itu.edu.tr) after an abstract is submitted to the Inter-Noise 2025 Congress.

I-INCE Practice of Noise Control School

Students and Young Pros can take part in the I-INCE Practice of Noise Control School. This is a registration required event due to limited space availability. Registration should be done via e-mail to Taha Sen (senos@itu.edu.tr). Details on this event will be announced later.

YP Award & Reception

During the Inter-Noise 2025 Congress there will be an award ceremony for the I-INCE 2025 YP Grant Recipients followed by a reception. This is an invitation only event and open only to the grant recipients, I-INCE Board Members and Inter-Noise 2025 Congress Team.
